AIR VALVE
111 SERIES Miniature air valve

The Electrodyne 111 series air valve is a low cost, miniature air valve. Its small size, weight and volume make it ideal for use in high density electronic packaging. It is designed to pass the leak rate requirements of MITI, provide high reliability and utilize very little power. Applications include blood pressure monitoring and security systems. Any of Electrodyne's family of air valves can be readily modified to fit any application. We invite your inquiries on the standard air valves or any other variations to fit your specific needs.
  • Driven directly from CMOS and TTL logic
  • High shock and vibration resistance
  • Low leak rate
  • Rotary dial monitoring devices
  • Low power requirements
  • Environmentally sealed

    Two Types Available

(leakage permissible at 15 psi without damage.)
ENVIRONMENTAL
Temperature: -0°C to +50°C
Shock: 50G for 11 ms.

2-Way, Normally Open
The 111 Series air valve (N.O.) is the lowest power consumption air valve available. It utilizes a rotary balanced armature with a single coil to close the valve. Once the valve is closed the supplied power can be reduced to maintain the valve's position.

2-Way, Normally Closed
The 111 Series air valve (N.C.) uses a magnetic circuit to hold the valve in the closed position. An electrical pulse is required to open the valve for air flow.
